Casey Max Emett

May 11, 1956 ~ December 16, 2018 (age 62)

Casey Max Emett, age 62, passed away on December 16, 2018 at the Dixie Regional Medical Center from a heart attack. He was born May 11, 1956 to Clinton and Kathleen Beatty Emett. Casey was raised in Enterprise, UT, where he attended his primary and secondary education. He also attended Dixie State College and Southern Utah State College. Casey married Verla Randall. They were later divorced. His children and lights of his life are: Rodelo (Wendy) Emett of Danville CA; Rolaina (Chris) Wilson of Washington City; Roland (Becky) Emett of Enterprise; Royce (Jaime) Emett of Enterprise.

Casey was a brilliant bookkeeper, which he did for a living. Casey was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served in music callings, cub scouts, ward clerk for two bishops, finance clerk and was currently serving as Ward Temple and Family History Indexing Specialist. Casey was a talented musician and artist and loved to share it with those he loved. Casey is a beloved brother, father, grandfather, uncle and friend of many. His home and yards were immaculate. Casey loved his family dearly, especially his grandchildren: Trey, Grady, Emett, Krislain, Easton, Hunter, Beau, Hoyt, and Aspen. Casey is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his children and grandchildren. Two brothers, DeLoy (Penny) Emett of Hurricane; Danny (Elaine) Emett of Enterprise; and one sister Faleen (Troy) Truman of Enterprise. Casey and his family would like to thank medical doctors and staff of DRMC, and the Enterprise EMS responders for all their care. Casey will be terribly missed by those who know and love him.

There will be a viewing at Hughes Mortuary, 1037 East 700 South, St. George UT, on Thursday December 20 from 5 to 7 pm. Graveside services will be held Saturday, December 22 at 11 am at the Enterprise City Cemetery.
